First Lady
Minister Jill Edwards

Jill Edwards is a loving wife, a caring  mother, a dedicated minister, and a relentless advocate for change.
Her spiritual journey began at the age of 8 when she was baptized at Walnut Hills Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio.
As she matured, Jill felt a divine calling to ministry, a call she answered. At the age of 23, she delivered her inaugural sermon at a Women's Day Conference hosted by the Smyrna Baptist Church Women's Ministry.

The year 2021 marked a significant milestone not only in Jill's personal journey but also in the history of Antioch Baptist Church, where she became the first woman to be licensed to preach the gospel in its 130-year existence.
Driven by her own experiences, Jill possesses a deep passion for supporting and empowering teen mothers. Having once been a teen mother herself, she intimately understands the unique challenges they face and endeavors to provide them with the guidance.

Jill's passion for service also extends beyond her work in ministry and advocacy. It has also driven her to pursue a fulfilling career in senior care. Currently, she holds the esteemed position of Business Developer for the Central Ohio region at Otterbein Senior Life. Her dedication to serving the elderly was deeply rooted in her personal experience of caring for her beloved grandpa, Houston Eversen.

In her personal life, Jill is happily married to Reverend Moses Edwards. She is blessed to have three wonderful children.

Jill's favorite Bible verse is 1 Peter 4:8 and she strives to live her life by it. "Above all, love each other deeply." Guided by this principle, Jill radiates warmth, wisdom, and unwavering dedication in all aspects of her life.
