Rev. Moses Edwards Jr.
Senior Pastor
Under the guidance of his late grandfather, Reverend Robert Davis, Moses grew up in Christian Valley Missionary Baptist Church. At the young age of eight, he boldly confessed lesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized. Moses received his education at Southeast Christian Academy from preschool through 8th grade before attending Madison Christian Academy for high school, where he graduated in 2005. Seeking further education, he moved to Cincinnati at the age of 17 to pursue his collegiate career at the University of Cincinnati, where he also became a member of lota Phi Theta Fraternity Incorporated in 2006
Moses is a proud product of the Hosack Street Baptist Church and Dr. Jonathan Morehead, whose spiritual guidance has been instrumental in his growth as a preacher of the gospel. In pursuit of his theological studies, Moses is a student at Trinity Lutheran Seminary, focusing on a Master's of Theological Studies.
Beyond his ministerial responsibilities, he also founded MG Lifestyle, LLC, a social media marketing agency that he has successfully led for 10 years. Adding to his extensive involvement, Moses is deeply committed to community service and nonprofit organizations. He is the founder of the Rev Robert Davis Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors for "We Are Linden" Non-Profit Organization. Additionally, he holds various leadership positions, including the Vice President of lota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. Alpha Eta Omega Chapter, the Chaplain for the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Columbus, and membership in the Baptist Ministerial Alliance of Columbus and Vicinity, as well as the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance.
In 2021, Moses achieved a significant milestone in his ministry by becoming a certified chaplain for National Church Residences, under the direction of Bishop Jerry Pierce. This certification recognized his dedication to providing compassionate care, support, and spiritual guidance to individuals within the National Church Residences community.
Moses is happily married to our First Lady, Jill. As he continues to live out his calling, he finds inspiration and guidance in his favorite Bible verse, Isaiah 40:31. Moses strives to embody the message of strength, renewal, and reliance on God's grace as he serves and uplifts those around him.
